Yes, the Law, Societies, and Justice Program is now 10 years old! The successor to the Society and Justice Program, LSJ has about 150 majors, a dynamic faculty and a nationally-recognized reputation as an innovative socio-legal studies program. As the recent five-year review of the program explained: “LSJ remains one of the leading American interdisciplinary programs for the study of law and society at the undergraduate level. It has pioneered the study of comparative legal phenomena. The analysis of law beyond the American legal landscape is integrated into the curriculum here at a level that remains unparalleled.”

We invite you to help us celebrate this important milestone at our anniversary celebration on October 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 at the University Club. We will serve light fare and drinks, and provide you an opportunity to greet old friends and meet new ones. We will also update you on current activities in the program on the part of faculty and students.

You can expect a formal invitation in the coming months, but please save the date. We hope to see you there!
