We are pleased to announce the LSJ Rome Study Abroad Seminar on "Comparative Law & Politics" for Early Fall Start 2018. The instructors are Professor Michael McCann(LSJ & Political Science), Professor Walter Walsh (UW Law School), and Dr. Sabrina Tatta (French & Italian Studies Department). Also present as program co-director will be Professor Anita Ramasastry of UW Law School. The seminar includes both UW undergraduate students and UW law students.
  • Study comparative Italian and U.S. law and politics in the heart of historic Rome
  • Learn about the rights of the individual – examine topics such as the right to due process and freedom of religion and the rights of immigrants and refugees
  • Meet prominent lawyers, judges, writers and human rights advocates
