There will be a book release event for Professor George Lovell’s upcoming book This is Not Civil Rights: Discovering Rights Talk in 1939 America at University Book Store, hosted by the Harry Bridges Center for Labor Studies. This book is an intriguing look at complaint letters written by average Americans to the Justice Department during the Great Depression.
