Current LSJ students and local alumni will work together at El Centro de la Raza, an educational, cultural, and social service agency centered in the Latino/Chicano community and headquartered in the former Beacon Hill Elementary School. We will be volunteering for their Cinco de Mayo Celebration. There will be booths from different groups and organizations in the community, entertainment and performances, children’s activities, traditional food and a lot of fun!
When: Saturday, May 4, 2013, from 1 to 5 p.m.
Where: 2524 16th Ave S, Seattle, WA, 98144. The facility is located near the light rail
station on North Beacon Hill.
