Repair the World will be hosting a Dream Shabbat on Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Hillel to advocate for the Dream Act. The Dream Act would provide a path to citizenship for undocumented youth brought here as children who have graduated from high school or obtained a GED and continue on to college or join the military. The event seeks to raise awareness about the Dream Act as well as encourage Congress to pass the act.
The event will take place at Hillel (4745 17th Avenue Northeast) on Friday, November 18 at 6:30 p.m.
Here’s a video about the Dream Act,
Free dinner will be provided.
