Cynthia Chiu graduated from the LSJ program in June 2009 with double minors in Anthropology and Human Rights. As an undergrad she started as an activist with environmental and labor rights groups and then brought attention to prisoner rights and reforms at campus. Since graduation, she has worked in public defender firms as a legal clerk and investigator. She is a licensed P.I. and is working on obtaining her certificate in forensics. She helps organize an event each year for children with currently incarcerated parents. She is also a member of the Community Partners for Transitional Services coalition, which organizes programs and resources for individuals incarcerated in Washington State. Some nights she bartends, and she plays a mean game of Scrabble and shuffleboard.

If you would like to contact Cynthia, her email is cychiu4@gmail.com.
